5-day Challenge

It’s a new year and a new opportunity to start off right. Do something for your well-being. With Moxie, I offer a few subscription options that is just right for everyone.

For the month of January, I challenge you to take a dance fitness class with me in these disciplines:

  • Hula ‘Auana
  • Hula Kahiko
  • Belly Dance
  • Samba
  • Ballet Tone
  • Stretch
  • Tahitian

Belly Dance Fitness is a combination of cardio, tone, and flexibility using our hips, chest, back, and arms. The movements stem from the Middle Eastern art of Raks Sharqi. You will be amazed at how much you can do in one session.

Tahitian is a challenging Polynesian dance artform utilizing the quick and large movements of the hips. This is great for cardio and strength.

Hula ‘Auana and Hula Kahiko are both dances from the Hawaiian culture. ‘Auana is a modern form of Hula while Kahiko utilizes traditional movements and chants. You will learn graceful arm movements while strengthening your legs.

Samba is a great cardio workout stemming from Afro-Brazilian dance arts. Get ready to move your feet and hips fast!

Ballet is the fundamental dance form for many dance arts. Create a foundation with the basics, find your center, and increase your flexibility.

Stretch is a must for everyone to do, every day if possible. We will work on ergonomic movements that will help us with exercise and dance longevity.

You can choose from:

  • Monthly subscription – Schedule any live group class (you can be a live attendee or a view-only attendee. 15 slots for live attendee and 85 view-only slots). You also get the opportunity to re-watch any of my library of class video instructions.
  • Weekly subscription – If you challenge yourself fully with the 5-day workout challenge, you should be able to complete it in one week.
  • Video On Demand subscription – This is perfect for the person with the variable schedule. Choose when to watch and workout at your convenience. You will not experience any live instruction, but can follow along to any previously recorded workouts.
